Mousa Dembélé was one of Fulham’s classiest modern midfielders. He joined from AZ in August 2010 for around £5 million and made an immediate impact with power, dribbling, and close control. Fulham’s official departure notice confirms he left for Tottenham in August 2012, so his spell was short but memorable. Across his Fulham career, Dembélé made 75 appearances and scored 7 goals in all competitions, including 62 Premier League games and 5 league goals. He is especially remembered for his ability to carry the ball through midfield and beat players under pressure. One of his standout moments was the solo goal against Tottenham that Fulham fans voted their Goal of the Season.
