Scott Arfield came through Falkirk’s youth system, making his first-team debut in 2007 and quickly establishing himself as an energetic, goalscoring midfielder; he helped the Bairns reach the 2009 Scottish Cup Final and played regularly in the SPL before moving to Huddersfield Town in 2010, later enjoying major success with Burnley and Rangers, while his return to Falkirk in 2025, more than 15 years after leaving, brought his career full circle and strengthened his status as one of the club’s most distinguished academy graduates.
