Si (Simon) Ferry at Dundee FC was a short, local-return spell. A Dundee-born midfielder, he signed for the Dark Blues in June 2014 under Paul Hartley, describing it as a meaningful move because he’d trained with Dundee as a kid before going to Celtic. In 2014–15 he was used regularly, playing 22 times in his first season as Dundee competed in the Premiership. Overall, his Dundee record is commonly listed as 23 competitive appearances and 1 goal. He featured only once at the start of 2015–16 and then left the club by mutual consent on 31 August 2015.
