Dundalk’s 2025 season was a clear rebound after relegation. Managed by Ciarán Kilduff, they won the League of Ireland First Division and sealed promotion back to the Premier Division on 10 October 2025 with a 3–0 win over Finn Harps. They also won the Leinster Senior Cup, giving the campaign extra silverware beyond the league title. Individually, Daryl Horgan finished as the club’s top scorer across all competitions with 13 goals, while Gbemi Arubi was their top league scorer with 12. In simple terms, 2025 was about stabilising the club, winning the division, and getting Dundalk back where they felt they belonged.
