Felix Healy is one of the towering figures in Derry City history, both as a player and a manager. A Derry native, he joined his hometown club in 1987 and was central to the legendary 1988–89 treble-winning side, helping City win the League of Ireland title, FAI Cup, and League Cup. He scored the winning goal in the 1989 FAI Cup final, which made him one of the defining faces of that era. He later returned as manager and led Derry to the 1995 FAI Cup and the 1996–97 league title. In simple terms, Healy is one of the club’s true all-time greats.
