Florent Malouda was a key part of Chelsea’s most successful era from 2007 to 2013. Signed from Lyon, he brought intelligence, work rate, and end product from the left wing. After an inconsistent start, Malouda flourished under Ancelotti, finishing Premier League top scorer in 2009–10 with 15 goals as Chelsea won the Double. He combined tactical discipline with late box arrivals and composure in big matches. Malouda won four major trophies, including the 2012 Champions League, leaving as one of Chelsea’s most underrated modern attackers.
