Drogba’s most famous Chelsea penalty came at the end of the 2012 Champions League final in Munich. The match finished 1–1 after extra time, so it went to a shootout. After Chelsea fell behind early (Mata missed), Petr Čech kept them alive with huge stops—saving from Olić and pushing Schweinsteiger’s effort onto the post. That left Chelsea one kick from history. Drogba stepped up, sent Manuel Neuer the wrong way, and drove his penalty into the corner to win the shootout 4–3—sealing Chelsea’s first European Cup.
