Benjamin Nygren is a Swedish winger/attacking midfielder who signed for Celtic on a five-year deal in June 2025 from FC Nordsjælland. He plays primarily as a wide attacker or creative number 8 and wears the club’s #8 shirt. Since joining, Nygren has quickly become an important offensive outlet, scoring regularly in the Scottish Premiership and contributing in European fixtures. He made his debut in a 1–0 win over St Mirren and opened his scoring account shortly after with goals in league matches. His ability to dribble, link play, and finish adds dynamism to Celtic’s attack. Internationally, Nygren debuted for Sweden in 2025 and has already begun to make an impact on the national stage.
