Henrik Larsson’s famous “chip vs Rangers” came in Celtic’s 6–2 win at Celtic Park on 27 August 2000 (“Demolition Derby”). With Celtic already 3–1 up, Larsson produced the game’s defining moment: he took a bouncing ball in stride and, instead of smashing it, lifted a delicate lob over Rangers goalkeeper Stefan Klos and into the net. The finish summed up Larsson’s touch and calm under pressure, pushed Celtic further ahead (his first of two that day), and became one of the most replayed Old Firm goals ever.
