Leigh Griffiths joined Celtic in January 2014 and became one of the club’s most prolific strikers, scoring 123 goals in 261 appearances. He was instrumental in multiple Scottish Premiership titles and domestic cups, and became one of the quickest players in club history to reach 50 goals. Griffiths was known for his clinical finishing and free-kick ability, topping the league scoring charts, including 31 goals in the 2015-16 season. However, his later years at Celtic were affected by off-field issues and fitness concerns, leading to reduced playing time and eventually his departure in 2022.
