Neil Lennon is a central figure in the modern history of Celtic, both as a player and manager. Joining Celtic in 2000, Lennon was a combative, intelligent midfielder who became captain and a key leader during Martin O’Neill’s era, winning multiple domestic trophies and reaching the 2003 UEFA Cup final. He later managed Celtic across two spells, guiding the club to league titles, domestic trebles, and the historic 2016–17 Invincible Treble. Known for his intensity, resilience, and deep understanding of the club, Lennon remains an influential and often polarising Celtic figure.
