Celtic Park—better known as Parkhead (and affectionately “Paradise”)—is Celtic’s home in the Parkhead area of Glasgow. Opened in 1892, it’s the largest football stadium in Scotland, with a capacity of 60,832. The ground was massively modernised in the 1994–98 rebuild that created the current all-seater bowl, and it later added a rail-seating section in 2016. Parkhead is famous for its atmosphere on European nights and Old Firm days; the record attendance is 83,500 vs Rangers on 1 Jan 1938.
