Efe Ambrose signed for Celtic on deadline day in summer 2012 from FC Ashdod and quickly became a regular across the back line (centre-back/right-back). He debuted vs Dundee in September 2012, then scored his first Celtic goal a month later—famously celebrating with acrobatics. Across his Parkhead spell he made 168 appearances and scored 6 goals in all competitions. He collected six major honours: four league titles (2012–13 to 2015–16), the Scottish Cup (2013) and the League Cup (2014–15). He also played regularly in Europe, including the Champions League.
