Scott Arfield’s Burnley spell was about energy, intelligence, and key contributions across two promotion-winning teams. He joined in 2013 and quickly became important under Sean Dyche, scoring 9 goals as Burnley won promotion in 2013–14, then helping them go up again in 2015–16. He also scored on his Premier League debut against Chelsea in August 2014, a moment that summed up his willingness to step up in big games. Across five seasons, he made 193 appearances and scored 22 goals in all competitions for Burnley. Arfield brought work rate, timing, and adaptability, making him one of the understated but important figures of that era.
