Solly March is one of Brighton’s key modern one-club figures. A product of the club’s academy, he broke into the first team in 2013 and went on to play a major role in Albion’s rise from the Championship to the Premier League. March has been valued for his versatility, able to play as a winger, wing-back, or wide midfielder, and for the balance he gives the team with work rate, crossing, and goals from wide areas. He was especially influential in the 2022–23 season as Brighton qualified for Europe for the first time, and he remains a long-serving senior player at the club.
