Ivan Toney’s Brentford legacy is about goals, attitude, and helping take the club to a new level. Signed in 2020, he made an immediate impact by scoring a Championship-record 31 league goals in 2020–21, then also scored in the play-off final as Brentford won promotion to the Premier League. Across his time with the Bees, Brentford say he scored 72 goals in 141 appearances before leaving for Al-Ahli in August 2024. Toney offered more than finishing: he gave Brentford hold-up play, penalty-taking, edge, and leadership. He left as one of the biggest reasons the club established itself in the top flight.
