Jadon Sancho was one of Borussia Dortmund’s most exciting modern attackers. He joined from Manchester City in 2017 as a teenager and quickly became a symbol of BVB’s ability to develop elite young talent. In his first spell, he was devastating from wide areas, combining dribbling, acceleration, creativity, and end product; Bundesliga records credit him with 104 league appearances, 38 goals, and 45 assists for Dortmund before his 2021 move to Manchester United. He returned on loan in January 2024, with Dortmund calling it a homecoming. At his best, Sancho gave BVB flair, unpredictability, and top-level chance creation.
