Łukasz Piszczek was one of Borussia Dortmund’s most reliable modern defenders. He joined BVB in 2010 and became a key right-back in Jürgen Klopp’s title-winning side, known for discipline, stamina, smart defending, and constant support down the flank. Bundesliga’s profile describes him as a mainstay of the teams that won back-to-back Bundesliga titles in 2011 and 2012, while Dortmund’s own coverage still treats him as a club legend. He spent 11 seasons at the club, made almost 400 competitive appearances, reached the 2013 Champions League final, and won a DFB-Pokal before leaving in 2021. He is remembered as a quiet but hugely important part of Dortmund’s modern peak.
