Jakub Błaszczykowski, usually called Kuba, was a key Borussia Dortmund winger in the Klopp era. He joined from Wisła Kraków in 2007 and became a fan favourite for energy, direct running, crossing, and relentless work rate on the right side. Bundesliga’s profile describes him as a creative force and notes that he was part of the Dortmund side that won back-to-back Bundesliga titles and reached the 2013 Champions League final. His career stats also show 197 Bundesliga appearances and 27 league goals for Dortmund. He was not the headline star like Lewandowski or Reus, but he was one of the team’s most trusted and important wide players.
