Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was Borussia Dortmund’s explosive striker in the mid-2010s. Joining in 2013, he brought pace, sharp movement, and clinical finishing, while also giving BVB a bit of flair and unpredictability. Bundesliga’s profile says he scored 98 goals in 144 games for Dortmund, which shows how devastating he was in a relatively short spell. He helped the club win the 2013 and 2014 DFL-Supercups and the 2016–17 DFB-Pokal. His peak league season came in 2016–17, when he scored 31 Bundesliga goals to finish as the division’s top scorer. At his best, Aubameyang made Dortmund dangerous every time they broke forward.
