Borussia Dortmund’s 2010–11 Bundesliga title was the breakthrough of Jürgen Klopp’s young, intense side. Dortmund won the league on 30 April 2011, finishing first with 75 points after a season built on pressing, speed, and fearless energy. Key players included Nuri Şahin, Mario Götze, Shinji Kagawa, Mats Hummels, Lucas Barrios, and captain Sebastian Kehl. It was Dortmund’s first German championship since 2001/02 and Klopp’s first major trophy as a top-flight coach. The title mattered not just because they won it, but because they dethroned Bayern and launched one of the most exciting Dortmund eras in modern football.
