Pat Fenlon is one of the biggest modern figures in Bohemians history, both as a player and as a manager. As a midfielder in the early 1990s, he scored 29 goals in 88 league appearances and won the 1991–92 FAI Cup, as well as the PFAI Players’ Player of the Year award. His bigger impact came in the dugout: after taking over in late 2007, he led Bohs to the 2008 league-and-cup double, then another league title in 2009, plus the League Cup in 2009 and the Setanta Sports Cup in 2010. In simple terms, Fenlon helped define Bohs’ last great trophy era.
