Keith Buckley was one of Bohemians’ defining players of the modern era. A midfielder from Dublin, he came through the club, made his senior debut in 2011, and went on to become a combative, committed presence in the heart of the side across multiple spells. By the time he left at the end of 2025, Bohs marked his contribution at 379 appearances and 20 goals, which shows just how central he was to the club. He helped Bohemians win the 2022–23 Leinster Senior Cup and was named in the PFAI Team of the Year in 2020. In simple terms, Buckley was valued for grit, loyalty and leadership.
