Mehmet Scholl was one of Bayern Munich’s most gifted attacking midfielders and one of the club’s great personalities. He played for Bayern from 1992 to 2007 and was known for technique, vision, close control, creativity, and a calm, slightly eccentric style that made him stand out. Scholl was decisive in big moments, including scoring in both legs of the 1996 UEFA Cup final, and he was part of the team that won the 2001 Champions League. Bayern list him as a Hall of Fame player and note that he collected 21 trophies with the club, underlining how successful and influential he was.
