Thomas Müller is one of Bayern Munich’s defining modern legends. A product of the club’s academy, he became famous for intelligence, movement, pressing, and uncanny positioning rather than flashy technique. His “Raumdeuter” style made him uniquely effective between the lines and in the box. Müller was central to Bayern’s greatest modern eras, including the 2013 and 2020 treble-winning teams. Bayern describe him as their record appearance maker, and in 2025 the club announced that his 25-year association with Bayern would end that summer after 33 trophies. He is widely seen as the authentic face of Bayern: loyal, efficient, competitive, and unmistakably Bavarian.
