Dettmar Cramer was one of Bayern Munich’s most important coaches because he helped deliver the club’s first great European peak. He took charge in the mid-1970s and led Bayern to back-to-back European Cup wins in 1975 and 1976, confirming them as a continental power. He is remembered as a foundational coach in Bayern’s rise to elite status.
