Robert Lewandowski was Bayern Munich’s elite goalscorer of the 2010s and early 2020s. Joining from Borussia Dortmund in 2014, he gave Bayern ruthless finishing, intelligent movement, link play, and remarkable consistency. In eight seasons, he scored 344 competitive goals for the club and won 19 trophies, including the 2020 Champions League. Bayern also note that he broke Gerd Müller’s long-standing single-season Bundesliga record by scoring 41 league goals in 2020/21. He was not just prolific, but one of the most complete strikers in the club’s modern history.
