Michael Laudrup played for Barcelona from 1989 to 1994 and was one of the defining creators of Johan Cruyff’s “Dream Team.” Often used as a second striker/No.10, he blended effortless close control with disguise passing, balance, and tempo-setting in tight spaces. He won four straight La Liga titles (1990–91 to 1993–94) and helped Barcelona win their first European Cup in 1992. His Barcelona story has a famous twist: after leaving in 1994, he joined Real Madrid and immediately won La Liga again in 1994–95, underlining his class and controversy.
