Ronald Koeman played for Barcelona from 1989 to 1995 and became one of the club’s defining defenders: a centre-back/libero with elite long passing, set-piece delivery, and a cannon shot. He was a key figure in Johan Cruyff’s “Dream Team,” winning four straight La Liga titles (1990–91 to 1993–94) and the club’s first European Cup in 1992. His most iconic Barcelona moment is scoring the extra-time winner (a free-kick/drive) against Sampdoria at Wembley in the 1992 European Cup final. He remains one of Barça’s highest-scoring defenders.
