Thierry Henry’s Barcelona spell (2007–2010) was about adaptation and trophies. Signed from Arsenal in 2007, he initially took time to adjust, then became a major piece of Pep Guardiola’s 2008–09 side by shifting to the left of a front three with Messi and Eto’o—stretching teams with runs in behind and finishing chances at the back post. That season ended with the treble (La Liga, Copa del Rey, Champions League). Overall, Henry scored 49 goals in 121 matches for Barça, winning two La Liga titles and the 2009 Champions League.
