Jordi Alba played for Barcelona from 2012 to 2023, becoming one of the club’s defining modern left-backs. He was elite in timing and speed of overlapping runs, creating a constant cut-back threat and forming a famous on-field connection with Lionel Messi (especially via Alba’s underlaps and low crosses). Alba was a key starter in the 2014–15 treble side and remained a high-output chance creator for a decade. He left in 2023 after becoming one of Barça’s most-decorated players, then moved to Inter Miami.
