Aaron Ramsey was Arsenal’s high-energy midfielder from 2008 to 2019: a relentless runner with a knack for arriving in the box at exactly the right time. After a horrific leg break in 2010, he rebuilt himself into a key player under Wenger, peaking as a goal-scoring No.8 who linked play, pressed, and made late darts beyond the striker. His defining Arsenal moment is the extra-time winner in the 2014 FA Cup final that ended the club’s nine-year trophy drought, and he scored again in the 2017 final win over Chelsea. He won three FA Cups (2014, 2015, 2017) and is remembered for big goals, box-to-box drive, and that sense he could swing huge matches on instinct.
