Santi Cazorla’s Arsenal years (2012–2018) were pure joy: a two-footed midfield magician who made the game look easy. He could receive under pressure, wriggle out of tight spaces, and dictate tempo with quick turns and crisp passing—then pop up with goals or set-pieces. Cazorla was pivotal in ending Arsenal’s trophy drought, starring in the 2014 FA Cup final comeback and helping win two FA Cups (2014, 2015) plus the 2014 Community Shield. His time was sadly defined by the horrific Achilles/ankle injury from 2016 that led to multiple surgeries and kept him out for nearly two years. Even so, he’s remembered as one of the Emirates era’s most beloved players.
