Arsenal F.C. won the 2025–26 Premier League title, ending a 22-year wait for their first league championship since the famous “Invincibles” season of 2003–04. Under Mikel Arteta, Arsenal finally converted years of progress into silverware after finishing runners-up several times. The team combined defensive strength, tactical discipline and attacking quality, finishing ahead of Manchester City F.C. in a closely contested title race. Key players included Declan Rice, captain Martin Ødegaard, Bukayo Saka and goalkeeper David Raya. Arsenal’s defensive record was particularly impressive, conceding the fewest goals in the league and keeping 19 clean sheets. The season nearly became historic on two fronts, as Arsenal also reached the UEFA Champions League final for the first time since 2006 before losing on penalties to Paris Saint-Germain F.C.. Despite that disappointment, the Premier League triumph triggered huge celebrations across North London and cemented Arteta’s place among Arsenal’s most important modern managers.
