Diego Maradona’s “Goal of the Century” against England at the 1986 World Cup is widely regarded as the greatest goal ever scored. Picking up the ball in his own half, Maradona dribbled past five England players, including Peter Beardsley, Peter Reid, Terry Butcher, Terry Fenwick, and goalkeeper Peter Shilton, before calmly finishing into the net.
