Andriy Shevchenko was AC Milan’s great striker of the early 2000s. Milan’s official Hall of Fame profile says he joined in 1999 and became the archetype of the modern No. 9, combining pace, sharp movement, two-footed finishing, and aerial power. He adapted to Serie A immediately, finishing as top scorer in his debut league season with 24 goals. Over his Milan spells, the club credits him with 175 goals in 322 appearances. His defining Rossoneri moment was scoring the winning penalty in the 2003 Champions League final against Juventus. He is remembered as one of Milan’s most complete and decisive forwards.
