Ruben Loftus-Cheek has been a useful AC Milan midfielder since joining from Chelsea in 2023. He gives the team power, ball-carrying, physical presence, and the ability to break lines from midfield rather than just recycle possession. Milan’s official player page still lists him in the current squad, and their current stats page shows him with 23 league appearances and 1,025 minutes this season, which suggests he remains part of the rotation even if not always the headline name. At his best, he adds drive and athleticism that Milan’s midfield can otherwise lack. Club match reports from 2025–26 also show him contributing goals again, including scoring against Lecce in August 2025 and in the win at Pisa in February 2026.
