Ruud Gullit was one of the defining stars of AC Milan’s late-1980s golden era. Milan’s official legends profile says he arrived in 1987, became a symbol of Arrigo Sacchi’s first great triumphs, and combined power, elegance, aerial threat, and versatility, starting deeper before becoming a top-class attacker. The same profile credits him with 171 matches and 56 goals for Milan, along with three Serie A titles, two European Cups, two Intercontinental Cups, two European Super Cups, and three Italian Super Cups. He was one of the key faces of the Dutch-led Milan side that changed European football.
