Fabio Capello was one of AC Milan’s greatest coaches and the man who turned Arrigo Sacchi’s foundation into sustained dominance. Milan’s official history credits him as one of the club’s defining managers, and the club’s Champions League honours list shows he led the Rossoneri to the 1993–94 European Cup/Champions League. His Milan side was famous for control, discipline, and ruthless efficiency. Under Capello, Milan won four Serie A titles in his first spell, including the unbeaten 1991–92 season of “Gli Invincibili,” and then crushed Barcelona 4–0 in the 1994 European Cup final. He is remembered as the coach who kept Milan at the top of Europe while making them even harder and more pragmatic.
