Pittodrie Stadium is the historic home of Aberdeen FC and one of Scottish football’s most recognisable grounds. Opened in 1899, it has hosted generations of Dons supporters and some of the club’s greatest nights, including the Sir Alex Ferguson era. Known for its tight, atmospheric setting near the North Sea, Pittodrie became closely associated with Aberdeen’s domestic dominance and European success in the 1980s. It was also one of the UK’s first all-seater stadiums. Though Aberdeen have explored relocation plans, Pittodrie remains central to the club’s identity, history and matchday culture.
