Toti Gomes has become a key Wolves defender in the club’s recent Premier League years. Signed from Estoril in 2020, he first spent time on loan at Grasshoppers before breaking into the Wolves side in January 2022. Comfortable at centre-back or left-back, he is known for pace, aggression and recovery defending. He scored his first Wolves goal in the 1–0 win over Aston Villa in May 2023, and in February 2024 signed a new contract running until 2029. Wolves describe him as having become a regular in their Premier League defence.
