Kasey Keller was one of the best goalkeepers in United States men’s national team history. He earned 102 caps from 1990 to 2007 and set a long-standing U.S. men’s record with 47 clean sheets. Keller was part of four World Cup squads—1990, 1998, 2002, and 2006—and played a major role in keeping the U.S. competitive across multiple eras. He was known for sharp reflexes, toughness, and consistency, and he won U.S. Soccer Athlete of the Year three times. One of his most famous performances came in the 1998 win over Brazil. Keller was inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame in 2015.
