Larry Storey-Moore was Nottingham Forest’s standout centre-forward of the late 1960s, a clever, strong No.9 known for sharp movement and reliable finishing. He was Forest’s top scorer in multiple seasons and became one of the club’s most prolific league scorers of that era, before earning a big move to Manchester United in 1971. His Forest peak came in the First Division years just before the Clough era, when the team’s attacking threat often ran through him. He later returned briefly to Forest, but his main legacy is as the goalscoring spearhead of that pre-Clough generation.
