Anthony Gordon joined Newcastle United from Everton in January 2023 and has grown into one of Eddie Howe’s most important attackers. He’s a direct, high-energy winger—presses hard, carries the ball at speed, and attacks the back post—often giving Newcastle their spark in transition. His breakout came in 2023–24, when he became a regular starter and big-game threat at St James’ Park. Newcastle moved to lock him down by giving him a new long-term contract in October 2024, underlining his status as a core player for the present and future.
