Louis Moult’s Motherwell spell (2015–2018) was a huge success story: a sharp, aggressive striker who arrived from Wrexham and quickly became Fir Park’s main goal threat. He was at his best attacking the box—quick movements across the near post, first-time finishes, and real confidence in big moments. Moult scored regularly in the Premiership, hit a standout hat-trick at Rangers in 2017, and formed a key part of a Motherwell side that climbed the table under Stephen Robinson. In January 2018 he earned a big move to Preston North End, leaving as one of Motherwell’s most clinical forwards of that era and a fan favourite for his work rate and edge.
