Dwight Yorke at Manchester United (1998–2002) was the spark that turned a great side into a Treble-winning machine. Signed from Aston Villa, he brought clever movement, sharp finishing, and—most importantly—telepathic link-up play with Andy Cole. In 1998–99 he scored 29 goals in all competitions and was devastating in Europe, especially the semi-final run that set up Barcelona. Yorke wasn’t just a scorer; he was a connector who dropped off, combined quickly, and made others better. He won the Premier League (3 times), Champions League (1999), FA Cup (1999) and Intercontinental Cup (1999) at United, leaving as one of the era’s most loved forwards.
