Teddy Sheringham at Manchester United (1997–2001) was the clever, veteran glue forward who made big moments happen. Not a speedster—more about movement, touch, and timing—he linked play brilliantly and scored key goals when it mattered most. His defining chapter is 1999: he came off the bench in the Champions League final vs Bayern and scored the equaliser in injury time before Solskjær won it, sealing the Treble. Sheringham also scored in the 1999 FA Cup semi-final replay against Arsenal after United went down to 10 men. He left in 2001 having won three Premier League titles, the Champions League, and multiple cups.
