Marcus Rashford’s United career was a homegrown arc of huge highs and uneven stretches. He exploded onto the scene in February 2016, scoring twice on his debut, and became a key forward known for direct running, big-game goals and relentless shooting. United say he’s logged 426 appearances and 138 goals, winning five major trophies along the way. His best season was 2022–23 (his scoring peak), but form and injuries later dipped, and he became a lightning rod for debate. In July 2025 he joined Barcelona on loan for 2025–26, with an option to buy.
