Scott McTominay’s Manchester United career (academy to 2024) was defined by graft, big-game edges, and late-box goals. Debuting under José Mourinho in 2017, he became a go-to squad midfielder: physical, disciplined, and willing to do the ugly work, plus the odd thunderous strike—like his long-range goal vs Man City in 2020. He made 255 appearances and scored 29 goals, chipping in with clutch moments (including that late brace vs Brentford in 2023). He left in August 2024 for Napoli in a deal worth £25m.
