Arne Slot became Liverpool head coach on 1 June 2024, arriving from Feyenoord as Jürgen Klopp’s successor. He’s known for a modern, structured brand of football: typically a 4-2-3-1 that can morph in and out of possession, with a high press and strong counter-pressing habits. Compared to peak “chaos” Klopp, Slot’s teams tend to look a touch more controlled in build-up, but still intense without the ball. His Liverpool impact was immediate: Slot won the Premier League in 2024–25, becoming the first Dutch manager to do so and one of the rare coaches to win it in their first season in England.
